2024 Costa Offshore World Championship: Presented by Costa & Instituto Costarricense de Turismo

Costa Rica’s breathtaking Pacific coast set the stage for the 2024 Costa Offshore World Championship, sponsored by Costa Sunglasses and the Costa Rica Tourism Institute. Over four exhilarating days, 42 teams and 198 anglers from 24 countries competed in one of the world’s top billfish fisheries out of Quepos.

Beyond the tournament, Costa Rica’s vibrant culture, stunning natural beauty, and endless adventure opportunities captivated visitors. From lush rainforests and active volcanoes to pristine beaches and rich biodiversity, the country offers something for every traveler. Participants enjoyed ideal fishing conditions, resulting in a record-breaking 686 Pacific sailfish and 13 marlin released, with a high of 272 billfish on the final day.
