Congratulations to the Winners of Marlin’s January Photo Contest
With more than 3,000 people from around the world casting their votes, we have now tallied the winning entries in the Marlin photo contest. Congratulations to Oscar Gallegos @fishtagramx in the professional category and Adair Bates @adair.bates as the winner of the amateur division. Gallegos is a professional videographer for Pisces Sportfishing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico—his outstanding image of a jumping striped marlin captured from a drone was the hands-down fan favorite image. And Adair Bates’ marlin head shot captured the imaginations of enough voters to put her over the top in the last few hours of the contest.
April’s Marlin Photo Contest will be all about the boats, so send us your best offshore fishing boat images for a chance to win and be highlighted on Marlin’s digital and social feeds as well as a shot at being on the cover of an upcoming issue later this year. The next contest kicks off on April 1!
