Anglers arrive at Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) for transport to the Northumberland Shore, Nova Scotia, just northwest of Antigonish on the Sunrise Trail.
Anglers gather for a tour around the area, lunch in town, unwind, and prepare for fishing with dinner.
Fishing days start early at Ballantyne’s Cove, with the overall goal being constant: catch big tuna. Coffee, breakfast, lunch, and snacks are served on board.
Departure times might vary for transport back to YHZ to catch your flight. The director will contact you with flight-time suggestions.
If you’ve never fought a near-1,000-pound fish on rod and reel from a fighting chair, then you’re in for the experience of a lifetime. If you have, but never had the opportunity to land a giant bluefin, this is the trip for you! Nova Scotia’s bluefin fishery can’t be missed, and any angler worth his weight in salt is after one of these massive creatures. Bluefins are smart, they see better than any bony fish and are targeted in the most hypnotic of settings. The sunrises and sunsets in Nova Scotia are unreal, and the wildlife is never-ending, from whales and great whites to bald eagles and bears, as well as the many species of seabirds that inhabit the Northumberland Strait.
Our instructors are there to assist you in your pursuit; and when coupled with the decades of experience the captains have in these waters, it’s a recipe for tuna-fishing success. Step outside the box with us and land your own giant. Just six spots are available for this platinum opportunity.
Ocean views as far as the eye can see! With modern, open-concept designs, our two houses have a total of eight bedrooms and five full and two half baths, impeccable chef’s kitchens, and every modern amenity (including washers and dryers) you can imagine. These stylish houses are perfect for watching Nova Scotia sunrises and sunsets; ones that pictures can’t begin to do justice.
