Seakeeper, known for its gyro stabilization systems, has expanded its Seakeeper Ride product line to support boats up to 55 feet in length—a move that could mean significantly smoother days offshore for big-game anglers running larger vessels.

With five new models—Ride 900, 1050, 1125, 1275, and 1500—now available, Seakeeper Ride brings its active trim and pitch control technology to a wider range of boats, including large center consoles and sportfishing platforms. These systems are designed to reduce pitch and roll underway by as much as 70 percent, using a series of transom-mounted blades that automatically adjust position in real time.

Each model consists of four independent controllers—two per side—mounted below the waterline. Using onboard inertial sensors that take 1,000 measurements per second, the system continually monitors vessel movement and controls the deployment of rotary blades that can adjust position up to 100 times per second.

This latest launch marks the first time Seakeeper Ride has been available for boats over 42 feet, offering stabilization benefits to owners of vessels from roughly 19 to 55 feet. According to the company, each installation is customized based on hull shape and boat function—meaning a 55-foot sportfish and a 55-foot center console may use different configurations.

Yellowfin will be the first builder to standardize one of the new systems, making the Seakeeper Ride 1275 factory equipment on its flagship 54 Offshore model.

For those already familiar with Seakeeper’s gyro products, especially in the 50-foot range, this new offering adds another layer of control—this time while underway. While the gyros remain effective at rest and slow speeds, the Ride system enhances performance during active runs, adding to both comfort and safety.

Seakeeper Ride systems are compatible with fiberglass or aluminum stepped and non-stepped hulls and integrate with most modern MFDs. Retail pricing starts at $23,500 for the Ride 900 and scales up to $35,500 for the Ride 1500.
