With several new projects currently underway, the crew at F&S Boatworks in Bear, Delaware, is pretty busy these days. Slated for completion in summer 2022 is the 82-foot Snafu, a five-stateroom/four-head sport-fisher designed for extended travel, fishability, and luxurious comfort for its owner, guests, and crew.
Key features include a full tower by Palm Beach Towers, twin Seakeeper 16 gyrostabilizers, Furuno omnidirectional sonar, and an extensive pressurized livewell system. The contemporary interior will feature a spacious owner’s stateroom with en suite head/shower and full-beam crew quarters with engine room access.

As with every build, F&S utilizes a variable-deadrise hull design with longitudinal steps, which results in exceptional speed, efficiency and seakeeping ability. State-of-the-art weight-saving technologies are also incorporated in every step of the build process.
The twin 2,600 hp MTU engines are expected to deliver a fully loaded cruising speed of 34 knots and a top speed in excess of 43 knots.
