The second project for a current Bayliss owner is in the initial phases of construction at Bayliss Boatworks in Wanchese, North Carolina. This will be the first 76-foot custom sport-fishing yacht for the company and its 40th build to date.
All of the Bayliss builds preceding this one have been custom-designed and hand-built to not just meet but exceed the needs and expectations of their owners’ fishing programs, and the Bayliss 76 project is no exception.
The cold-molded wood hull will be powered by MTU 16V2000 M96L engines; the build will feature redundant Seakeepers, Furuno Omni sonar, Bayliss’ proprietary Fresh Flow cooling system and a fuel capacity of 2,700 gallons. These options combine to create outstanding performance to aid in the efforts of this competitive fishing program.

Inside, the new build will feature four staterooms, three heads, a day head and a pantry. The interior wood selection will be walnut, and exterior paint will be a custom-mixed Imron. Delivery is scheduled for summer 2026.
