Alutecnos 20 Veloce
The new generation of the Alutecnos 20 Veloce features a more rounded-edge with a contemporary look but not at the expense of performance.

For such a relaxing pastime, fishing success is often dictated by how fast you and your equipment operate. A good crew moves with deliberate speed to set the spread, change out baits and hop up the ladder with your sandwich. A good reel drops back and picks up line as quickly as the angler can manipulate the drag lever and wind. The Italian-made Alutecnos 20 Veloce, already known as a speed demon among south Florida's kite fishermen, now sports a fresh look and an even faster retrieve.

The new generation of the Alutecnos 20 Veloce features a more rounded-edge with a contemporary look but not at the expense of performance. This striking reel sports a blistering 6.2:1 retrieve, so you won't have a problem winding up the belly in your line and coming tight on the bite. The added lip on the side plate allows for a heavier, tempered stainless-steel gear, providing added power to fish the wrecks. The Veloce also comes with an all-new ergonomic handle along with Alutecnos' patented infinite anti-reverse system. The reels are made from 6082 aluminum alloy — which has better anti-corrosion properties than 6061 — and comes with five stainless-steel ball bearings.
