Under Armour Flats Guide II
The company makes the shirt in both short- and long-sleeved versions
Jun 26, 2008

Even with boats pumping air conditioning up your fanny in the cockpit, trolling around in the muggy tropics for hours on end tends to get a little sticky. If you're one of those fellows who perspires instead of sweats, you will appreciate the technology and design that goes into Under Armour's recently introduced line of fishing apparel. Under Armour made its name in the world of professional sports, making sure that 350-pound offensive tackles don't overheat during a football game, so keeping you cool on the back of a sport-fisher should be a breeze.

Under Armour tries to attain maximum comfort and functionality with all of its apparel, but the company's Flats Guide II shirt goes above and beyond. The company makes the shirt in both short- and long-sleeved versions, and the long- sleeved comes with an innovative "quick toggle" sleeve that allows you to roll it up with one hand. The company claims that it's ultra-lightweight, quick-drying Flats Guide II shirt renders every other fishing shirt obsolete. Made from a quick-drying material called Poly Armour, these shirts wick moisture away from your body to keep you cool even as you sweat. Two chest storage pockets, chest vents, back venting, a UPF rating of 30+ and anti-microbial odor reduction provide total comfort and ease of use.
