Garmin GPSMAP 5215
Garmin's new GPSMAP 5215 multifunction unit features a daylight-viewable 15-inch diagonal XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) touch-screen display. The touch screen saves space by eliminating soft keys and makes navigating menus much easier since the on-screen "virtual buttons" change depending on the function you are operating in, either echosounder, radar, chart plotter or navigation screens. The GPSMAP 5215 comes preloaded with highly detailed U.S. coastal charts and Explorer Charts for the Bahamas. The unit also integrates seamlessly with the Garmin Marine Network, which combines GPS, radar, autopilot, XM WX Satellite Weather, sonar and other sensors operating on the NMEA 2000 interface. The GPSMAP 5215 expands easily with three built-in network ports, four NMEA 0183 outputs, an NMEA 2000 port, two video inputs for onboard cameras and one PC monitor video output. For more information, visit www.garmin.com, or call 913-397-8200.
