Simrad IS20 Instruments
Simrad's new IS20 system consists of two digital and four analog instrument heads all based on the NEMA 2000 SimNet data bus for simple installation and integration. Using a range of Simrad sensors, the IS20 graphic display provides a real-time graphical representation of instrument data, enabling quick and easy visual information. The IS20 graphic also operates as a multifunction repeater for other marine electronics via SimNet. The IS20 Combi offers all the information needed in one instrument for a stand-alone system, including speed, depth and temperature combined with trip log and passage time.

Realizing we need certain information presented in analog format, Simrad built the IS20 system with four new analog instruments featuring easy-to-read needle pointers with precise Micro Stepper-Motor technology and advanced Kalman stabilized wind data processing for unparalleled accuracy. The analog gauges also have an integral LCD screen to display the digital data as well.

The SimNet system allows you to install the IS20 instruments with no need to access the backside of the console or dash. The small cable size and plug-and-play operation make installation and integration to sensors an easy task. SimNet also makes the IS20 system compatible with the AP24 and AP28 autopilots.
